Installation Guide

Download & Extract

Download the ZIP file and extract it to a folder on your computer.

Open Extensions

Go to chrome://extensions and enable 'Developer mode' in the top right.

Load Extension

Click 'Load unpacked' and select the extracted folder. Done!

Detailed Instructions with Screenshots

Step 1: Download the Extension

Click the "Download Extension" button above to download the ZIP file. Save it to a location you can easily find (like your Downloads folder).

Step 2: Extract the ZIP File

Right-click the downloaded ZIP file and select "Extract All" (Windows) or double-click it (Mac). Choose a permanent location for the extracted folder - don't delete it after installation!

Step 3: Open Chrome Extensions Page

Open Chrome/Edge and navigate to:

chrome://extensions

Or click the menu → More tools → Extensions

Step 4: Enable Developer Mode

Toggle the "Developer mode" switch in the top right corner of the extensions page.

Step 5: Load the Extension

Click "Load unpacked" button (appears after enabling Developer mode), then navigate to and select the extracted folder (the one containing manifest.json).

Step 6: Configure API Key

Click the extension icon in your browser toolbar, then click "Settings". Choose your preferred AI provider and enter your API key. Don't have one? Check out our pricing page for options.

Step 7: Start Using!

Select any text on any webpage, and the AI toolbar will appear. Choose your desired function and watch the magic happen! ✨

Troubleshooting

⚠️ Extension doesn't appear after installation?

Make sure you selected the correct folder (the one with manifest.json inside). Try reloading the extension or restarting your browser.

⚠️ "Invalid API Key" error?

Double-check your API key is correct and has sufficient credits. Make sure you selected the right AI provider.

⚠️ Toolbar doesn't show when selecting text?

Check Settings and ensure "Show toolbar on text selection" is enabled. Try selecting more than 3 characters.
